About Us

eRabies project

eRABIES project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation aims to contribute in accelerating Uganda’s mission to eliminate rabies through a One Health approach. It mainly focuses in:

  1. ⁠Engaging communities in dog bite prevention and rabies control through vaccinations.
  2. Strengthening integrated bite case management (IBCM) by human and animal health professionals.
  3. ⁠Enhancing awareness towards rabies and dog bites. The project involves different stakeholders for rabies in Uganda including academia, government bodies, human and animal health professionals, and NGOs.
